It's Not Hormones, It's Your Beaded Scrub.

Why can't i use a Physical Exfoliant on my acne?

- I know we all want to use a scrub because it flattens out our bumps and grinds off our texture; it's the only thing some times that makes our coverup sit right. We sadly need to stop. It is the cause of your acne. How it is, is those little beads roll around and break open your white head, then rolls around in that fresh and lively acne bacteria, and then is rolled around the rest of your face. That's why you probably get localized breakouts. I understand that some scrubs are labeled to be specifically for acne, trust me i do understand, and yes those scrubs have acne medication in them but it's quickly rinsed off and not left on to treat. Please drop your scrub for a few weeks and see if that helps you, and remember, scrubs are great but never use it on white heads for fear of spreading the bacteria.

We recommend using a chemical exfoliant in the areas that you have break outs, such as AHAs and BHAs.
